I never pay any insertion fees and I have the basic store.  Plus I get 10,000 additional freebies in certain categories since I'm in managed payments.   You can quickly do the math to see how much money you are losing.

You are paying 30 cents for each insertion above your free ones!

10c each x 1000 equals $100.

You can get a Premium Store for $60 a month and save $40 by getting 1000 free listings.

But, I would be more concerned about your selling prices. A Toy Truck shipped for $9.55, you sold for $2 and paid $1.49 in seller fees, making a whopping .51c. Unless you are making something on shipping, you couldn't pay me 10x that amount to even get out of the recliner to pack that thing.

Go to Seller Hub-> Overview-> Promotioal Offers.

That will tell you how many free listings you have this month.

My Basic store 1000 "free" listings included in the subscription price, but I also hav 10,000 truly free listings on a promotion, which are used by eBay before you get into your subscription allowance.

How many of those listings are selling? How many are just rolling over month after month? Looking at some of the sold items, you can't be making money for those prices. Does not even cover the time, supplies or labor involved to do the listing. Might want to pare back on number of listings and concentrate on items with better profit margin, then maybe just donate the really low cost items to Goodwill or such for a write-off.

Selling extra cheap extra fast because my account is below standard because I couldn't find a few sales and canceled them.  Trying to get back above standard. Can't promote my listings. Listing impressions down 70%. And all of my sourcing is done from the Goodwill Clearance Center. Where I am paying under 50 cents per item.

1) Look at eBay charges

2) Find all the insertion fees

3) Add them up.

IMHO every penny spent on insertion fees is wasted money.

I would upgrade to the basic store - even if you choose Month to Month vs the subscription.  Would still be saving you money.

Sorry to hear you are in that wheel on the listings.  It is a tough one to get out of I would imagine.  Good luck getting this phase of e-bay behind you (meant sincerely)

You pay around 30 cents for each active listing, every month. You might want to think about bundling items. It's helped me in the past.
