How many people actually like Easy pricing?

I’m one of the many people who don’t use the EASY PRICING feature at all these days. I operate on an aggressive pricing method, and raise prices instead of lowering them. Furthermore, always being bugged on the app to turn it on is such an annoyance!
How many people ACTUALLY use easy pricing, and how many people would actually recommend it? It’s one of those cases where it’s a feature that’s not working for me but I want to see if there are any success stories at all with the feature.

I personally think 'ebay pricing' is strictly for ebay's benefit, not the seller.  ebay is only interested in things selling. ebay doesn't care how much something sells for, as long as lots things sell, and lots of things sell - sooner!  Then again, ebay is in it for the money.

Not saying 'NO' doesn't mean 'YES'.

Perhaps if Brains were described as an APP, many people would use them more often.

I have not used it as I never found a time where it would work for me.

I'm interested also if anyone does use it though

I have absolutely no interest whatsoever in using that function.  I can however see where it can work for others.  But it is just not for me.

Annoying to me as well...not for me, I ALWAYS THINK that I will accidentally click it when exiting out of listing a new item 😫

I do not use EASY PRICING either. Can't imagine depending on E-Bay to price my items. There are too many variables to consider and the bots can't apply these variables.

I don't use it. I have best offer on practically everything, so I don't need it. If someone wants a lower price, they can ask.  I don't need Ebay deciding to lower my price for me.

Sounds like that is a good thing!

I asked eBay on twitter if I can disable the message on mobile or have an easy pricing that INCREASES instead of decreases prices; they said both of them are not options.

eBay's definitely going to lose some ground with me. I seriously hope they have a heavy reorganization of their corporate structure and policies.

It's nice to hear your opinion, but I agree with the majority. I use an aggressive pricing strategy where instead of dropping prices, I raise them on a regular basis. If buyers know that the price will drop, they will wait to buy at a sizable loss on my end that I can't control, as sellers don't decide when easy pricing stops lowering prices; eBay automates it and I have no control.

As an example, when I was selling a copy of the Travelers' Green Book, I priced it at $6.99, then slowly kept raising the price, and even raised the shipping price from USPS First Class to UPS Ground ($3.50 to $9.99). The book eventually sold for $24.99, and the buyer paid full price. Along with me pricing an Apple Watch Series 3 and instantly selling it at $94.99 (meaning that I priced it too low), I have sufficient evidence that Easy Pricing will never work for experienced sellers that have similar conditions to myself.

eBay needs to give intermediate, experience, advanced, and smarter sellers better tools on all platforms. The bulk-listing and advanced-listing tool is a step forward, but sellers on no platform can control automatic price adjustment except for what eBay wants; a 5% price drop every 5 days. I would love it if eBay created an auto-price adjuster feature that is customizable; like raise the price by 2.3% every 12 hours, or 10% every week.

Odd comments.  They were correct, increasing pricing automatically isn't a tool they have available for sellers and not likely there would be one in the future as it just doesn't seem like it is a tool that very many sellers would use, so not worth the money it would take to develop and roll out.  But you could develop your own system for your listing to remind you to increase pricing as you see fit.

As to messages.  There are many types of messages that you can control in your Site Preferences under Communications.  So check there and revise as you see fit.  While you can't stop all messages, nor should you be able to do that, there are many you can.

You want a "heave reorg" over these two issues????  Why in the world would that be needed?
