How many more months til First Class shipping is back in the app? Waiting since July.

Really tired of not having first class shipping option for my items weighing under 13 oz since the app update. Was told it would be fixed. But I’ve been told a lot of things by ebay that turned out to be nonsense so thought I’d venture to ask again.

And that’s why when my inventory is gone so shall I be gone from ebay. Too much aggravation relative to the teeny margins left after fees & commissions — especially those insane commissions on shipping! Tech & their promises (insert eye roll here).

While you don't use eBay shipping, it still needs info to help calcuate pricing and determine eligible services.  

Since the new shipping label platform launched, I have found some of the updates a good thing - like not allowing you to select ineligible methods for shipping based on info supplied.  (like selecting Media Mail for a non-MM category). 

You may want to fix the other Peridot gown listing - shipping says Free / Economy but in the Shipping tab it shows Retail Ground as the method.

I’d have to go to the site to fix it. Again, my complaint is all the extra time, steps, and attention required for items that only met me a dollar or two and I have other things going on as this isn’t my business rather am selling off my doll collection.

Seriously, don't use the app on your iPad, but use Safari.  The SYI form is normal there without all the pre-fill.

I asked CS if they plan to half their commissions since only half their program works. We all know what their answer was lol.

FC option is there, but only if you change the weight/dimensions.

You either go with the pre-fill on the App and make the changes, or use Safari on your iPad with little to no pre-fill so you don't get caught in the trap

I set fixed prices for shipping. I don’t use eBay’s shipping calculator or labels or anything. I price my items, set the shipping price (I’m always within .30 to .50 of actual as my available packaging options vary from day to Day but I’ve gotten pretty good at those estimates rather than eat a bunch of time when a lot of mine end up with multiple items anyway, which is a whole different package, etc.)

A potentially long answer, but I’ll try to nutshell:
1. Free shipping is fake news for All-Inclusive-Pricing and is so dishonest I just can’t stand it lol
2. But, the biggest reason is that Most of my sales (doll clothes) cost $3.27 to $3.45 to ship with tracking first class. Many of the orders are for multiple items, so 10 doll dresses would end up $30 more than without free shipping, which would definitely impact my multiple item sales, which would be a total price gouge and so on and so fourth...)

Meaning, I can ship 10 doll dresses for the same $3.47 as one dress. If I added $3.47 to every $10 dress, you can see how it would not be to anyone’s advantage!
