Hi everyone!
I have had an ebay Basic shop subscription for several years now. I usually have 400 to 500 items in my shop. This year sales have been REALLY slow and now it seems not worth the money to have to pay $21.95 a month for the shop subscription because I am hardly making any sales. My question is, if I get rid of the subscription, how many free listings do you get a month?

200

Oh wow! That many? That's great! Thank you.

Even better: It's actually 250 and has been for a few years. Here are the details:

BUT if you're paying $21.95, that means you have an 'Annual" subscription, and will be charged an early termination fee if you cancel before the final month of your 12-month commitment.

Hi, keep in mind that closing the store can sometimes have fees attached, dependent on the length of one’s store subscription. Wish you all the best!

Great! My yearly subscription renews August 1st, so I figure this is the perfect time to end it and go back to non store format.

I eliminated my store subscription several years ago when eBay offered the 250 free listings for non-store sellers. I realized that if I was selling only 20-25 items per month I was paying an extra dollar for every item sold. And when the average sale was less than $15 that was pretty expensive on top pf the FVFs. Eliminating the store subscription did not affect sales - they held up until last fall and this spring's eBay changes kicked in.
