I stumbled across this number tonight. I've never paid any attention to it. I never even knew what the number was until now. Mine is 60. Is that high? Low? What's yours?

Does the following feature even work on this board?

I have 9; one buyer, one seller, one person who used to post on this board, and 6 people I don't know.
In case people don't know where to find it, go to your main page and click on your screen name.

the above number is for me,I have a lot of repeat buyers.I have never utilized the impression ratings but I suspect my numbers are pretty good.On my better items I average about 25 watchers and normally get at least 200-300 views on each on of my auctions

I have 483 followers. I picked up two this month. For me it is important, I do have quite a few repeat buyers.

I have 173 and I do a large amount of repeat business (well over 50%). The funny thing is that I don't recognize many of the "followers" as being customers. They are apparently just happy to look and/or are other sellers keeping an eye on my listings.

OK time for stupid questions.I too do not really know much abpout this but I just have to ask,if you add someone to your favorite sellers list, is that the same as following someone?.I know for sure that I have bookmarked sellers before inside of ebay rather than watchinng something they had to sell because eventually watched items will all dissappear

I would have thought that my saved sellers and the people I am following would be the same count but I have 4x on my saved sellers list versus my following list which happens to be doubled the amount of people that follow me but I can understand that seeing this is a posting only id for now.
Never checked the other id's so i am not sure where they fit in but I hope who is following me is higher on those for obvious reasons. .

1167.
I myself follow about 20-30 sellers who are either my competition, friends I know personally, or sell a product line that I can possibly get into if I wanted to.

I have been here since 1998 and had no idea you could follow a seller or be followed as a seller.
I had to google how to find out how many I had.
I have 20.

My numbers are pretty sad.
On this ID - 10 and none of them are people I know either on the boards or via ASQs or done business with.. It used to be 11 but the 11th person didn't like my asking her on the Board why she was following me given that she picked a fight with me every time she saw me. So she wrote some words in all caps at me in response and then quit following me.
On my main selling ID - 23 !!! LOL. And of those, I only recognize 2 of them, both local competitors! None of the remaining followers has ever bought from me.
Nonetheless, I seem to do all right and get a bit of repeat business. My eBay store has 51 subscribers, which seems like a small number but almost all of them have purchased from me.

There's also a following feature on these boards but I don't understand it. If you look at your recent posts in your profile you'll see different posts with numbers showing a # of followers - as few as 0 or hundreds. I'm afraid I don't understand it either.
Adding edit: oh - that last one is view not followers.
Darned if I know!

176, but I never have understood the benefit.
Also followers are public info it seems. A person can snoop around and see who is following who. 🕵️
