There is no limit as far as know.
You can have up to 8 ebay accounts attached to a paypal account.

You can have 8 email accounts attached to PayPal, they don't have to be eBay accounts.

You only need one email account attached to PayPal that all of your eBay accounts can use as a payment address.

You need a different email account for every eBay account, but each of those can use the same email address for PayPal.

I have 7 eBay accounts; 3 actively selling, 1 that I somethings think about selling on, 2 that are fairly dormant and 1 that I bought one thing on so my son wouldn't see his Christmas present.

Just to be clear, however, eBay knows they are all "you." If you were, say, banned from the discussion boards, a new user id would be banned also. Same with buying or selling restrictions.

In other words, you can't create new user ids to get around any given eBay restriction.
