How long to wait before buyer collects?

Hey, 

I recently sold an item which I had hoped to get rid of quickly. The buyer won the auction, and I messaged asking when they wanted to pick up the item and agreed to be paid on collection. The buyer responded by saying that they will pick it up after lockdown is finished, which is around a month away. I wanted to get rid of it beforehand, what should I do?

Did you have a set time in your listing?

You did ask when they wanted to pick it up and they told you when so I'd just wait until then.

I never set a date for collection on my listing no. I guess I assumed that someone would have seen that I was in Glasgow, and wouldn't have bid if they couldn't pick it up until 'lockdowns over'.

You could offer to deliver it. 

Or you could cancel for 'Out of Stock" and throw it away. 

But since you never set an expectation for pickup, I doubt your buyer is going to accept one after the fact.
