How long should it take for resolution when a buyer does not recognize a credit statement?

Buyer states they do not recognize a credit card statement from March, 2023.  EBay withholding payment since May 12, 2023.  How long should it take for EBay to resolve this dispute.  I forwarded tracking info which showed buyer got package in March.

As long as you shipped to the address given you by ebay you're covered by seller protection even if you lose the dispute (or SHOULD be).

When we were using PP, they wouldn't hold your money if you were covered, unlike MP.

My last cc dispute took nearly 2 months to get a verdict.

For what it’s worth, you’re not waiting for “eBay to resolve this dispute;” you’re waiting for the credit card issuer to finish its investigation.

If it is a fraudulent charge on the CC Secret Service investigates the theft not just the Credit Card issuer. This could take a while to resolve. It is not eBay holding up the works on this one they just reported the status to you. Good Luck
