How long does it take for my new items to post to site? Its been over 4 hours.... My customer who has already purchased an item has asked if we had another type of item and we wrote back and told them yes and posted them to ebay. That was over four hours ago and my customer is getting impatient and wondering if I know what I am talking about or just messing with them.  Gee whiss, why is it taking so long? Items #'s are (323344402176) 323344408174? I cannot even send them a private invoice if they cannot be seen. Thanks ya'll

Go to the first message the buyer sent and find the button that says "Send Offer". Send them a private offer for the additional items if they are impatient.

When you click submit listing right above the blue submit button it tells you it can take up to 24 hours.

Since you have the item number go ahead and copy and paste it into the search bar and see if your item come up that way.  Usually it does. 

If it does you can send an eBay message to your buyer instructing them to input the item number (you will supply it to them) into the search bar and click search which will bring up your new listing and they can review the listing and make the purchase that way.

It doesn't come up when you search the item number, but it does come up when you go directly to the URL:

That would be sad if I created a 1 day listing and it took the entire 24 hrs to index itself onto ebay.

It has been there for years.  Probably longer than your account has been active?
