I was browsing on eBay and saw a listing and I clicked on it.
I was looking at the description then I see that the ebay listing states that I can only buy the product on PayPal F&F, PSC, Bank Transfer or Credit Card
Scroll all the way down, I messaged him on eBay and told me to talk with him on another messaging app. When I did he told me I can only pay on paypal F&F option. He wanted to scam me that way, because there's no way I can refund on paypal F&F option.
I reported him on eBay and it's been a month and nothing has happened? One last thing, what is it with the 71 people watching all the time? I highly suspect these are bots because not once did I see that number change to 70 or 72.

Did you talk to someone in Trust and Safety? That might help.

It looks like a digital item.
There is no Buyer Protection on digital items.
There is no Seller Protection on digital items.
Which, I suppose, could be considered a level playing field.
If you paid by credit card, you are protected by the card's chargeback program.
If the seller is German, the bank transfer makes sense. Bank transfers are rare and expensive in North America, but are the preferred method of payment in Europe. I notice some of his pricing is in euros.
Personally I would skip it just for the ugly 1990s layout.

I like how they buy from their own alternate id's to leave bogus feedback!
I have sympathy for buyers but for those that want to buy status in a game not so much.

Do you have a link? I can't find it on eBay 😕

No link; you have to call them. You call CS and ask for Trust and Safety. We are not allowed to post the number for CS but you can follow the contact us pages or do an online search under Ebay and the number will be right there.

Since the item is listed on ebay.ca (Canada), you may have to contact them instead of ebay.com.

That listing was listed on the US site as it is in $US but even if it was listed on .ca, there is no separate customer service for .ca. We all talk to the same people.🙂

Here is some information on the various ways you can contact Ebay to report this very serious issue. I sincerely hope you get some attention for it soon.

Gees. Saw the "ebay.ca" and didn't pursue it further. My bad!

If eBay's customer support operates the way customer support has operated at every company I have worked for, reports are prioritized and the customer support department works the list in priority order.
I have no idea how eBay prioritizes complaints, but I would imagine that big factors are (a) number of different people complaining, and (b) whether the person complaining is involved in an eBay transaction.
If you are the only person reporting, I can certainly see why eBay is not prioritizing your complaint as highly as it would other complaints.
How is this okay?
It is not okay. Did someone tell you that it was okay?

No, not OK.
The listing is not OK on many levels.
The listing shows that the seller accepts paypal.
The "via paypal F&F" is only at the bottom of the description and carries no weight.
Paypal Family & Friends is for paying family or friends, not for selling or buying commercially.
When a buyer chooses to take the bait and take the conversation off ebay, the seller snares them.
You have left 3 negatives for them already because you bought 3X. You made an offer on a $1 item? Are you a competitor?

Please know I meant no offense. I do say that a lot and I have been here a long time as well, and I mention Trust and Safety a lot because of my experiences with them. I learned of them years ago through other's posts and have called with applicable reasons, in fact, recently. I don't doubt your experiences, it just seems that yours and mine differ.
I do get CS when I have called, and then I ask to speak to Trust and Safety. The rep will ask what it is in relation to, and I give a brief summary. Then I am transferred, or, at times, it becomes a conference call with both reps on the line. I also ask if I have reached Trust and Safety when another rep gets on the line.
Granted, my concerns were different from your and from the OPs~but my experiences were very different, although I can understand your concern about asking for a scam listing to be removed if you have listings of your own that might be removed instead.
It sounds like you had some really bad experiences and I wish you had not had to go through that.
