I have sold items infrequently in the past, so basically I'm a new seller. I just began my first starter store subscription this month.

I have 13 feedbacks from buyers (12 from over a year ago), and 291 from sellers. Yet the number next to my userid says 273. I'm sure this is not just a feedback count as I thought it was. Can someone explain how this works?

As mentioned above, yes it is a feedback score. But a little explanation as to why it is not 303 (12+291)

If you buy more than one item from the same seller, or sell more than one item to the same buyer, in a week's time then all of the feedback related to those multiple sales is counted as one. They will show all the feedback comments in your text, but only count it as one.

Feedback score. That’s all nothing else.

Also if you are a new seller a store may not be in your best interest until you can list more than a few items.

Best to read everything under Sell at the bottom of the page …

a little trick that will come in handy........anytime you see an i with a circle next to something.........click on it. They use them all over, not just to explain feedback.......
