How does Terapeak change if I get a store?

I'm looking to start an actual store and weighing the pros and cons. I'll be posting some questions and would appreciate experienced answers and opinions.

I currently have access to Terapeak, but I'm wondering how it changes with these features.  Do you use them?

How does Terapeak change if I get a store?

@anasazirose

You might want to watch this short video, If I remember , he does explain the difference between "research products" and the store-only "Sourcing Insights". https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=plAM_gXx4HA

@bashort @katzrul15  The OP isn't asking about the price, you are correct, Terapeak is free for everyone. However, it has an additional feature ("Sourcing Insights") when you have a store subscription.

"All sellers can now take advantage of Terapeak’s insights on what to sell, when to sell, and how to sell on eBay, directly from the Seller Hub Research tab. Sellers with access to Seller Hub can use Terapeak product research for free.

Business sellers with a Basic Store subscription or above also get access to Terapeak sourcing insights as part of their Store subscription."

It is the same for all Sellers now - there is no charge to use Terapeak.  We use it and also search "solds/completeds" on the site.

Good luck.  It can be a great tool - sometimes just using "google" gives you pretty good comps as well on other sites too.

How does Terapeak change if I get a store?

@anasazirose  I do most of my sourcing at yard sales, thrifts etc. I sell mostly used and vintage single quantity items. I believe the Sourcing Insights tool is probably most useful for sellers who source wholesale or do retail arbitrage. That said, it can provide some ideas if you source like I do, so if you are going to get a store subscription anyway, I'd say experiment with it. For a lot of my kind of stuff, I think it usually does not have sufficient data to be useful, but if you are selling things like newer smartphones, it's probably good.

For a seller like me , I would not get a store subscription just to get the terapeak "sourcing Insights". However, I have a basic Store subscription and am happy with it, so I do look at Sourcing Insights once in a while.
