How do you report price gouging on hand sanitizers and disinfecting wipes?

Not all hand sanitizer listings are being taken down by ebay. Many sellers are still listing hand sanitizers at high prices. A set of five one-ounce hand sanitizers sold on ebay yesterday, March 20, for $1,025.00

It’s not true. You must be a seller who is engaging in price gouging and wants people to stop reporting.

People, eBay can’t handle all items at all times. If you see something, report it.

They just added that two days ago. It wasn't there before. I am assuming they must have had enough people reporting it.

I have spent time reporting literally a hundred of the toilet paper sellers and NOTHING has been done. It’s funny how it can be totally legal here but illegal in the stores.

I reported a seller who is auctioning toilet paper and the price is over 15 grand now. How many times do you report someone to ban that seller or ban the sale? I read that eBay and amazon are penalising people 3 weeks ago, but seems like **bleep** to me.

No. Theres toilet paper in an auction that started early in the day the price was $41 and now its at 15 grand! How does that fly? Both me and my boyfriend reported it.

Unfortunately, Not fast enough, $95 for bidding so far on 4 bottles of lysol or $48 for 2.  Sad and sick people do this during this time.

They just added a selection to report price gouging.... After clicking the "report" button, choose "Listing practices", then "Price gouging". Hope this helps. 🙂

Go to the listing and choose Report item, which you'll find next to the description and shipping and payment options.
On the File a report page, select Prohibited & Restricted items in the Report Category field.
In the Reason for report field, select Price gouging.
Select an option from the Detailed Reason field and then Send.
