How do you report price gouging on hand sanitizers and disinfecting wipes?

1. Prohibited and restricted items
2. Other prohibited or restricted items
3. Recalled items

Hopefully a lot of these greedy selfish people will become like this guy. I don't feel sorry for him one tiny bit. Or the thousands out there like him.

This guy has almost 18,000 bottles of hand sanitizer and nowhere to sell them 🙂

All the corruption ebay allows with returns and stealing from sellers when someone returns an empty box or destroys their item, it seems kinda ironic that they are all up in arms over people wanting to jack up the price of hand sanitizer.

If no one buys the items they will go away, lol

Also on rubbing alcohol. E-bay seller wants $38.00 for Rexall alcohol you can buy at Dollar General for $1.50. Amazon has fixed all the price gouging, why can't E-bay?  Apparently E-bay sellers do NOT have too follow Declared emergency price gouging laws set by the Federal Government.

eBay should do the right thing and permanently BAN their accounts for these acts.

Federal Government has no laws other than gas for price gouging. It is the states that do. Because eBay has to collect tax in those states, the state can do something about it. I would recommend anyone after reporting it to eBay to also report it to there state attorney general's office. When a complaint is sent in to the states attorney general's office, it gets forwarded to eBay. Make sure to use the address for eBay as the one that is listed on your monthly invoices. If they keep getting those letters from states attorney generals offices, I would suspect them to do something about it.

If each states gets a flood of these, the states attorney generals office will fine eBay for this or force them to do something to stop this. This is how hand sanitizer and other items got banned during this emergency. We all need to report it to our state attorney generals office to stop the madness.

They're being removed. I click on links in another thread and also typed in search terms, including those crafty sellers who intentionally misspelled sanitizer, they all ended up removed, even if the photo showed in search results.

Ebay stated they'll be suspending sellers who list banned items. They're taking this seriously. Kudos to eBay!

"Price Gouging" generally only applies to items that are considered "essential for life" like food, medicines, water, etc. 

Hand sanitizer and disinfecting wiped are hardly "essential for life" and therefore, market price is what the market will bear.

I reported it and ebay  did nothing. As of March 15,ebay has listed 1 square of toilet paper for $3, extreme gouging on TP. Also they had stopped gouging on sanitizer, and now allowing it again. These people gouging should be h&$#*&$#!!!!!!!.

If no one buys the item at  these extreme priced listing then no one is really harmed.  If some one pays for the ridiculous priced item then they  have money to burn.

they need to create a new item as "price gouging" in the drop menu so people don't create a new post every 5 min asking about price gouging.

There's one for $40 a piece! And this seller already sold 18!!!! Talk about greedy it times of need.
