I have tried to use ebay's chat service about five times over the past three weeks to ensure that payments from customers are being sent to the correct PayPal account, and each time I am on for up to one hour or more and my issue is not resolved. Payments are continually sent to the wrong PayPal account, even though the Payments page in my account shows the right one. This is so painful, and it feels as if someone is playing a joke on me.
Then today I receive an email message from ebay and also the same message within ebay's message system both saying that seller fees are now due, and when I click on the links to pay the fees, the page says that "We're sorry we ran into a problem". I restart the computer, try different devices, log in and log out, and nothing changes. How do you contact a competent and knowledgeable person at ebay to assist?

Payments will be sent to the PayPal address found on the listing.

Thank you but is there such a thing? I reached this forum from inside of my account by following the "help" links. This is the forum that Ebay directs me too. Interestingly, this account was originally American when I was living in America, but now I live in Australia. I have a feeling that they messed up the backend of my account when I asked them to change it from USA to Australia. Anyway, the link for help inside my account brings me here to this board/forum.

Thank you but there are multiple issues with ebay's service and fixing errors in my account, and so the original question here on this post remains - how do you get competent customer service? The number of times I have attempted to fix issues is overly aggravating and exhausting because it requires extremely long wait times and then the rep does not resolve the problem.
