I've suddenly started receiving "You got paid for..." emails whenever my buyers pay for items.
I have never received these e-mails before.
It's a problem because I just sold over 150 items in one day, and every time a buyer pays for an item, I get an e-mail notification for it - regardless of whether that item is part of a combined invoice. It's totally frustrating that I have to manually delete the 100+ nuisance emails.
There doesn't seem to be any way to turn this notification off in "Seller" section under Account Preferences / Communication Preferences. I'm not sure where else to look (a Google search didn't help).
Any help with this would be appreciated.
Thanks

If your email provider supports it (like Gmail) I’d just set up a filter and move them to an archived mailbox, or even auto delete if you choose. I like to save those just in case, but if you truly don’t care that’s your call. I agree eBay should let you turn them off, but this should be a viable option since they don’t appear to.

Those emails are always sent out after a sale and you really don't want those turned off. They are proof of a sale. Without that reminder of a sale, chances are should you forget to log onto eBay for a couple of days, you will have items to be shipped up piled up. Miss several or 150 of those, and you are banned from eBay.

Here is my problem:
And here is where I would think that you can manage your communication preferences to turn these payment notifications off. But there is no option for that.

I'm not talking about the "your item sold... / you made the sale for" notifications that eBay sends when someone wins an auction or uses the "Buy it now" option. Those, I want.
Those payment notifications were not always sent out. The last time I sold an item was on 7/15. The buyer paid immediately, and I never got a notification that he paid for it. As I said, I have never received these payment notifications before, so something changed since then.

I think those show up when there is a delay in the payment. When the buyer pays right away you don't get those. If the buyer buys the item and then does not pay right away, when the buyer eventually pays, you are notified.
Most people do not sell 150 items in one day with payments delayed and have to be notified for all. I guess that is why this issue has not come up before. What I can tell you though is there have been cases where a buyer had not yet paid and sellers shipped which is why I doubt eBay would want to allow these notifications to be turned off.

150 items sold in one day. YOU ROCK!

Is it for auctions? I always get them for those since they aren't immediate payment.

Oh, how most of us wish we had that "problem"! 150 emails a day for 150 sales in a day! Fantastic. I hope that you have some help getting those parcels out .
