So, someone buys from me. It says the following information on my 'All Activity' tab in seller payments:
Amount: $16.78
Fees: $-2.75
Net: $14.03
Here was the product transaction:
Price: $9
Shipping: $7.78
So...how much did I make? What is my profit? Why am I making $14 off of a $9 item? That obviously can't be my profit, right? It must be the revenue then? If that's the case, where can I see the PROFIT for all of my sold items, because I don't care at all about revenue.

In order to figure profit you need to know the actual price of your item.

You need to deduct what you paid for shipping from the $14.03.

How do I actually find this information if I didn't record it originally? I think I paid through 'eBay funds' or whatever, so I don't believe it's on my card billing statements?

If you bought the item on ebay........it should be in your purchases...........

After you print label and ship item go to ORDERS, ALL ORDERS and click on view VIEW ORDERS DETAILS. This give a complete breakdown all EBAY fees, shipping costs and your NET PROFIT.
$16.78 GROSS INCOME ($9 purchase price + $7.78 shipping income)
- $2.75 EBAY fees
- $7.78 Shipping cost to print label
$6.73 NET INCOME (amount that gets deposited into your bank account)

Find the item in Seller Hub under "Orders". Click on the "View Order Details" link. On the right it shows what you earned, including fees and Shipping Label if you printed it thru eBay. Here's a sample of what it looks like.

So "Order earnings" is the actual profit I've made, even after any shipping I might have had to pay for (like label)?

Here is "easy":
Those of us here that want to know TO THE PENNY how much you make off of EACH ITEM won't like this method. But, here it is. Feel free to use it if you wish.
From your homepage, click on "Performance".
Look at "Selling Costs".
Now, everybody's numbers will be different ...
THAT'S how I do it.
I can now look at that $450 monthly profit and how much time it took me to make it and realize that I should be an 'associate' at WalMart and make the BIG money.
Sure am glad I spent all that money on an MBA so that I can figure out that my in-laws are right and what a LOSER I AM.
Merry Christmas everybody.

Where do I find the "homepage"? This website is so confusing lol...I CAN'T FIND THE PERFORMANCE TAB!

Try "OVERVIEW".
I have it saved as my entry point.
Also, while looking at a couple of your numbers ... why are you spending so much on shipping?
It's hard to tell on that one item ... was it heavy?
Is most of your inventory heavy?
If it is ... you need to increase prices, or shipping cost, or both.
If you're shipping overnight or priority ... STOP IT !!

I genuinely don't see it in the overview section.
As for shipping, I have no idea. AFAIK, buyers pay the shipping and sometimes it makes me buy the label or something...something weird like that, I have no idea.

you may not be signed into Seller hub yet.........try this to the Overview page
Note that when you say "profit".......the numbers ebay gives you are what they have.......they don't have the cost of the item, the cost of shipping materials (box/envelop/bubble wrap, etc....

Thank you. I think I found it in Net Sales under the seller hub via the performance tab that was mentioned.
