All takedowns are done by bot. No one at eBay can give you useful information other than, don't relist it.

What was the item and what was the reason it was taken down?
03-13-2024 07:08 PM
You don't.
There is nobody at eBay that can help you.
If it was taken down, there must be a reason.
Keep it down and do NOT relist or risk being permanently suspended.

Hi @stace_larr
Go to Help & Contact and follow the prompts.
There is no regular phone number to call anymore for customer service. It was done away with during Covid and the phone bank has not been reinstated to pre-pandemic levels. In addition, no email address either.
You can also reach out to customer service via eBay’s social media, Facebook for Business page or X (formerly known as Twitter).
Lastly, there are knowledgeable fellow sellers here in the forum who might be able to help.
Good luck and hope this gets resolved to your benefit.

Elvis presley box set behind closed doors.
They said counterfeit.
I purchased it on ebay and there are several others for sale just like it still.

But there are more like it for sale on ebay and I bought it on ebay recently.

The one you relisted? I don't know that I'd call any more attention to it. But that's just me...

Which does not mean that it is permitted.
Could be you have words in your listing that triggered a bot, and the other listings do not.
Could be the bot has not found the other listings.
In the rare chance you get the listing reinstated, it could be taken down again before it can sell. And you could be punished as a repeat violator.

I haven't relisted it I'm trying to see why they are saying it's counterfeit.

That's why I'm trying to find out why they said it's counterfeit I used the ai for the listing.

I am starting to notice a very interesting trend on these boards.

It's a bootleg, it was released quite a few times in various formats, the last time being in 2018. They are all unauthorized.
Yeah I know, they get listed on eBay frequently and if you do a regular Google search eBay has a sponsored link (maybe it's in the Catalog?).
Was it a Vero takedown or an internal eBay removal?

The 2018, 2004, 1997, and 1989 were bootleg the 1979 Germany release was not a bootleg.
And the 2018 release is listed on eBay as well as some others I purchased this box set through eBay but now that I'm selling it it's removed but the others that have been listed a substantial time longer are still available.
Something doesn't seem right. I'm just out 185 dollars.

So why don't you used "1979 German Release REAL Elvis box set etc" in the Title and do NOT use AI as AI would NEVER have ANY idea what 90% of items are...AI is good for 'paper towels' that are XYZ same brand listed 1000 times.
Not something unusual.
