As a seller, one of my items was flagged as not following the search manipulation policy. It is an art piece and the description referenced another artist as "in the style of". I revised the listing removing that reference, but I am getting "There was a problem adding or updating Promoted Listings. Update this listing to try again.".
What am I missing?
Thanks!

Towards the bottom of the listing form, remove any promoted (advertising) selections. See if that helps it go through.

Think you will continue having problems attempting to list as a relist. Start a new listing from scratch.
Remove the offending "style of" and leave everything else as it was. If you truly feel there is a helpful connection to another artist, add that to your item specifics as an "influencer" or "school of."

It can't be "in the style of".
Either it's a Picasso or it isn't.
If it isn't, don't mention Picasso.
Example...
"Kids plastic building blocks" = OK
"Kids plastic building blocks just like Lego" = NOT OK

Ebay has really relaxed the rules on this from what they use to be. But still you can't say "in the style of" some name branded artist. Just think of that logically. If you aren't selling a Salvador Dali, don't say in the likeness of a Salvador Dali. That is clear manipulation if someone was actually looking for a Dali.
Take a good look at the policy and make sure you are well within the rules. You should be fine.

Thanks. I understand why it was flagged, but even though I removed the "in the style of" reference, I am still getting the "There was a problem adding or updating Promoted Listings. Update this listing to try again." ,message. There are no other names or artists mentioned in the title, description or item specifics.
I'll try it creating a new listing for it.
Thanks for your input.
