How do I remove a variant from my listing?

We have various products which the color has changed, we thought our listing software would manage it but instead it has create a new color instead of changing the current one. Now some orders does not sync as the variant is not on inventory.

How do we remove said variants?

You can revise your variations listing by:

In the listing, click on revise listing at the top of listing.

Where it shows the variations, click edit

Brings up another page, click edit again.

That should bring up your variations.

On the right side of page, click the X by the variation you want to remove.

Variation names cannot be changed- only photos, price and quantity. When you have a new variation or a significant change to the old one then creating a new variation is the correct process.

I don't know if your listing software is set up to delete variations- you may have to do it directly on eBay. Instructions for deleting the old variation are in the post before mine, but you can also zero out the quantity and leave it on the listing. With zero quantity nobody will be able to purchase the old variation as it will show as out of stock.
