I recently shipped the incorrect item to a buyer, so when the buyer contacted me of course I agreed to a return so that I could send the correct item.
The buyer opened a return case, buyer got my shipping label and has shipped the item, on its way back.
My question is, how do I handle this type of return/exchange through the eBay return process?
It seems as though my only option to close the case through eBay is to provide a refund to the buyer, but of course I do not want to refund, I want to ship the correct item and then close the return case.

It's a little late in the game, once you receive the return, the return case must be closed and refund issued to buyer, the buyer can then repurchase the item as a new transaction.
