I just noticed that the items I've been posting have auto relist set, and under the auction duration, it says that the item will be relisted up to 8 times if it doesn't sell. After my current auctions end next Sunday, I'll be heading out of state, and won't be able to monitor the listings for 2 weeks.
How do I turn off the auto relist, for each listing and before I post any more listings? I saw a few postings about this from 4 years ago, but the screens have changed since then, and the "More Actions" link on the Selling page is no longer there. And I don't see any option to turn it off when revising a listing.

From the link;
"How to remove automatic relisting
In Selling Activity, find your item in the Active Selling section. From More actions, select Remove Automatic Relist
On Seller Hub, find the Active listing. From More actions, select Remove Automatic Relist"
does that work?

The only option I see to avoid the relisting fee is to end the listing before its expiration time, which would eliminate sales to last-second bidders.

End the listing before it expires and relist it. When you do relist, make sure you check the duration for whatever choice you want. Note: When a "Good Until Cancelled" or auto-relist is in place, it won't notify you that it will relist or anything so you have to keep an eye on it. It never notifies me of anything but luckily, I didn't get charged.

Just saw this:
However, it doesn't help. According to it, I should "unselect Automatically relist this item up to 3 times if it doesn't sell when you're reviewing your listing". However, there's no such option when posting a listing. Also, under duration, my listings say that they'll automatically relist up to 8 times. Perhaps they changed their software without fully implementing all of the options. Still, the option should be select to auto relist, not unselect it.
The auto relist reminds me somewhat of the Impala I was driving recently, which automatically turns on the headlights when the car is started. At least the driver has the option of turning them off. Here, I've yet to find such an option.
Yes, if an item has no bids, I'll have to end the listing before it expires, but I don't want to relist immediately, as I'll be leaving the state next week, and won't be trying to sell anything online for the duration.
I've never used "Good Until Cancelled": I've so far only been using 7 or 5 day auctions. Occasionally, I'll select the "Buy It Now" option, but I've not done so for several months.

I had to change to the classic listing, and from there, I found the More Actions link to the right of each listing summary, and was able to remove automatic relist. On most of them, that is. It didn't work on 2 of the listings. But this is an improvement, and I thank you for the information.

I ended the listing on the 2 items about a minute before they expired, and they didn't automatically relist.
This is also a concern of a lot of people over on the Q & A board have, and since I can't post to it, I'll ask those who can to help, if you don't mind cutting and pasting the rest of this paragraph. Near the top right of the new version of Selling Overview page, click on the link that says Switch to Classic View. After doing so, you'll see under the "Active Selling" heading that there are sub-headings for Views/Watchers, Bids, Prics, Time Left and Actions. Under Actions, the two links are Sell Similar and More Actions. Click on More Actions. The last selection should be to turn off Auto Relist. When you click on that, it should turn off Auto Relist for the specific item.
What I'd like to see is Auto Relist not be turned on automatically whenever an item is listed. If that can't be done, I'd prefer an option to turn it off for all listings.

Oh for Pete's sake. There goes eBay trying to take the reins away from us again on our own property period all of a sudden I realized that all of my listings were being relisted. Since I listed them during the free listings for auction items they are being relisted for 10 days when I was planning on relisting them for 30 days to extend the listing and cut down on the overall cost of fees. They also were relisting before I found out that there was a new 100 free listings that ended today offer. Which means they might have been costing me $0.35 per listing. I don't see how this can be fair, much less legal, to relist something and charge you for it when you didn't give permission for it. I understand there is a way of undoing it, more than one way. But who wants to take the time to watch every single listing and try to end it right before it is over so you can relist it and then have to try and remember to end the Do Not relist option which means you can't use the app or the new format and have to go to the classic format to do it. Not only that but if you try to do it on the classic format you have to go through and undo the automatic relisting for every freaking item separately. If they can make a sweeping brush stroke to turn the automatic listings on for every item, why can't we make the same brushstroke to turn the automatic listing off? I never check check the good till item sells option. Ever. Never. Ever. I always set them for either a 10-day auction or a 30 day fixed price listing. What's the point of setting up for a 30-day listing if it's going to automatically relist anyway? Can you tell I'm frustrated??? This takes so much time. It reminds me of the insurance agencies that keep turning down claims in the hopes that if they turn them down enough times the clients will give up on trying to be reimbursed on their claim. EBay is trying to wear us down and I'm sure it works a lot of the time. Not to mention the sneakiness of doing it behind our backs so that we're out a bunch of listing fees before we even realize it's happening. I relist some things right away and wait on others that are less important. If I wanted them to automatically relist I would check that box in the first place.

is there a solution???

I don't see anything on my screen to change back to classic view?? If that is truly a fix I evidently can't do it..lol
