DO NOT TRUST eBay AUTHENTICATE TO SELL YOUR VALUABLE HANDBAGS

UNPAID: It's been a month-long saga working with eBay Authenticate but will begin with how it ended. I STILL HAVE NOT BEEN PAID after Eastvale Luxe Store other wise known as eastvaleluxe sold two Celine Phantom bags. I've never experienced such gross incompetence when working with a company. This is Ebay, and one would expect customer service and care. It's been traumatic with hours and hours and more hours of  "taped" conversations explaining the situation. Individuals promising to get back to me, days later having to call back in.  More "we will take it to the 'team' meeting." Or, "sorry we can't help you right now, call back Monday."  Every outreach was responded to in no fewer than 3 days if at all. NO SUPERVISORS. NOBODY CARES. Requests for ID #'s or order numbers, WHICH THEY HAVE.  Eastvaleluxe and the "selling team" actually asked me in one of dozens of emails (it takes days for them to respond) for the brand of the bag, WHICH OF COURSE THEY HAD ACCESS TO. VERY POOR COMMUNICATION and slow. Trails of emails and yet they can't resolve the problem and pay me for the two bags. They simply don't care about the seller. it would seem. So, here I am, 1 month later, an empty PayPal account and a traumatized seller. Yes, they had an old email which I had to add to PayPal but I was advised that they would have to resend the money. A three-way, 1 hour call between PayPal and eBay authenticate ended with the authenticate team member not having the correct order # (one would think that after weeks of phone calls and "team meetings" they would have compiled the info, but no!) PayPal confirmed that both transactions were indeed returned to the third party seller. STILL UNPAID.

 

I have a lot of patience, but this is abusive.

 

COMMUNICATION: I used Fedex to send in these designer bags plus 3 other valuable bags. They did so in one box which was a mistake. It took nearly one month and many attempts to locate the box and ensure that eBay authenticate did indeed receive the bags. It seemed to be a challenge for the authenticate team to communicate with their seller eastvaleluxe. A carrier pigeon would have been faster. Very Scary.

 

NOT FOR VALUABLE BAGS IN LIKE NEW OR BARELY USED CONDITION: Even though used, there is a big difference between a bag that's been carried heavily and one that is in pristine condition, however they are treated in description similarly. My "used" but only a few times Celine bags and a black caviar Chanel bag (vintage but pristine and used a handful of times) were sold at very low prices not unlike very used bags, so descriptions matter. THERE WERE NO SCUFFS OR CORNER WEAR! I would say that I lost about 3K on three transactions. DO NOT TRUST THIS SERVICE, SELL ON YOUR OWN or elsewhere! #ebayauthenticate

At this point, I don't trust that eBay authenticate can pull it together to resolve this and respond in a timely and professional manner by resending payment. I'm exhausted from explaining to representatives and out thousands of dollars. Thanks for sharing the link.

Yes, they had an old email which I had to add to PayPal but I was advised that they would have to resend the money.

Everything else is pretty much why I'd never use this service. Eastvale on their previous ID when they were the valet store sold counterfeit bags regularly.

Fedex said they often combined in one box (insured), but yes, agree with my mistakes, but even PayPal assured me that after adding back the old email it would be resolved. Re Easvale, possible reason why bags sold at low prices. Once I realized who they used I should have gotten them back.

BEWARE!!! Same problems with the same store!

 

Sent in 3 NEW NEVER USED LV bags. They listed them as USED at prices that were even lower than what identical bags declared as "used" had sold recently.

 

Items have sold, but now I have been waiting for my money for days without any notice from them.

 

EBay Authenticate is a rip off (or should I say FRAUD?)! They just outsource their job to some random vendor who does or does not have any integrity. They do have of course great ratings because their customers are buying our brand new bags at ridiculously discounted prices!

 

List it yourself, or send it to some of the sites that know what they're doing.

But I insist, they are out to making a quick buck/sale at the expense of Sellers!
