How do I dispute a false report made against me?

Someone had reported all of my auctions for being in the wrong category.  But this is false, I'm guessing it was my competition to get my auctions taking down.  Now I have this strike against me.  How do I dispute it and report the person who made the false report against me?

What were the items and what category were they listed in?

The easier you are to offend the easier you are to control.

Re: How do I dispute a false report made against me?

They were custom handmade Barbie sized clothes, and I had them listed in the barbie clothes, custom handmade category for several years.  Other sellers who handmake doll clothes also use this category.  Ebay had told us years ago that this is the correct category for us to use.

Any seller who resorts to these tactics has serious problems.

Have you contacted eBay by phone or by FaceBook? That's where I would start.

In the title, you have "reproduction".  I'm guessing that the clothes could be a copyright infringement......

Sure are pretty........

Has the OP dealt with this before? If so they may be in danger of suspension or worse.

What happened the last time(s) @dolldesigns4u? What was the outcome with eBay and how did you resolve the problem?

Yes, this same person falsely reports me for several years now.   She doesn't want to compete with me.  And the irony is, she copies my work and uses the same category that she reported Me with.  Oh yeah, and after she copies my designs, she puts her own name on it in her pictures.

That wasn't the issue.  It was Custom, handmade that was reported.  The pattern I use is vintage, but the fabric is new.

Re: How do I dispute a false report made against me?

In addition, this person who falsely reports me, checks off ALL the "item type's" for a HAT she is selling: Bag, Bottle & Bib, Coat/Jacket, Dress, Hat, Jewelry, Nightwear, Pants & Shorts, Scarf, Shoes, Skirt, Sweater/Cardigan, Swimwear, Top, Underwear

How is a HAT similar to a bottle or bib??

Did you get any kind of official emails of why the listings were pulled?

I can see you started multiple threads from the past couple years about your competitor's key word spamming. If you're reporting them for KWS and they're reporting you for category or other violations then you're both doing this to each other.

Frankly speaking, if you've had multiple take downs over the years you should start preparing to sell on another venue since eBay doesn't keep sellers around forever who continue to repeat the same violations.

Your items may be listed in the correct category, but it sounds like you might have some other issues going on with reproductions and/or licensing rights to sell garments made from Mattel copyrighted patterns.

I think you need to sort all of that out if you have any hopes of continuing to sell here or elsewhere. I can see the detail in your items and you make a nice product, but you need to figure out how to sell without these continuous problems and wars with another seller.

Could you use "fashion doll" instead of Barbie? Your items are nice enough to develop your own customer list.
