How do I change bank account if original is closed

I was trying to change the bank account on file to my new one and Im unable to do so since it needs the old account number that I do not remember and cant go to that account to find it since its closed

I would contact my bank to find out the old number.

(Although if it was me I would have the number on my old checkbook.)

Do you have a check ..the account number is on that. Can you access any old statements. Try calling the bank.

@Anonymous  You don't have any old checks from that closed account? or any other transactions? old bank statements?  if not, go to your bank and get the number.

I never had checks as this was an account used in college days so I do not have checks

Also the account was closed and deleted so I cant check at all

In the top left hand corner of most every eBay page is a link under your first name that says account settings.  Open that and there is a link under Personal Info that says Request your eBay data and from there check account report.

If that does not work you've only been an eBay member for a year and have no selling history.   Make a new account.

If you can't recover it think of it as a good thing. You wouldn't want such sensitive information easy to obtain.  The internet has lots of checks and balances to keep it safe.

May not help, the account number may only show the last four digits.

I went ahead and did this, waited like 3 days to get my report , and sad to say, it will NOT show you your bank account number... Off to my bank I go. Thanks.
