Some people don't exit the screen that they were on when looking at something when the "pocket" their phone. Buyer is apparently claiming "pocket dialed the purchase".  Apparently it is a one step process for some with their payment method "auto linked", or it could just be an excuse to cancel.

When you cancel be sure to use " buyer request" as the reason.  In MP you get your fees (sans $0.30) refunded, and no defect on your account for buyer request cancel.  If you are still in PP your funds processing fee may, or may not be refunded.

Click on your awaiting shipping button

There is a drop down menu next to the "print shipping label"

Under the drop down menu, click cancel order - Follow instructions

Buyer request to cancel a transaction has been initiated and I used the "BUYER REQUEST" to cancel in the drop down.  Thanks for the explanation, this was my first.  bubba

Would just like to chime in on this...

I've just recently installed the eBay app on my phone (previously I just used a mobile browser and went ebay.com) and I was browsing sleepily the other night and what did I wake up to?

Somehow, I made 2 separate purchases from two separate sellers of about $20 each! Thankfully each seller understood and agreed to cancel without incident. So I definitely believe a pocket purchase is feasible.

Seems there was one not long ago about buying stuff while "out jogging" because the phone was on😊 Bumpity bump, buy, buy, buy.
