For the past 2 years most of my purchases were made on eBay but came from Amazon, yet none of my purchases on Amazon come from eBay. Why?

Some sellers use Amazon Fulfillment. They send all their items to an Amazon warehouse. They then pay Amazon to ship out their items when they sell. They do this for multiple channels, not just Ebay. It is allowed by Ebay and is perfectly legitimate.
You have some sellers who list a bunch of stuff they don't own, then use their Prime accounts to ship as a "gift" when someone buys something. This is not allowed by either Amazon or Ebay.
::sigh:: I had typed out an entire diatribe about how new stuff has ruined Ebay and sent it swirling down the toilet bowl...but I'll save that for another day. I don't want to unleash that on the OP lol

What do you mean by "came from Amazon"? That it came in Amazon packaging or that it came from an actual Amazon seller?
I've seen some sellers where they cross-post between eBay and Amazon. They can obtain Amazon shipping materials for this.
Or I know some people, including myself, who reuse Amazon boxes to save money and fit the occasional awkward shaped/sized item.
For the reason why Amazon purchases come from eBay, some items probably do. Like I said some people do cross-post and they get the access to Amazon's shipping supplies. They also can ship from Amazon with FBA which would ship it to you. Or it could be a case of drop shipping.
