How can I stop ebay automatically going into Paypal without me having to sign in?

I accidently clicked keep me signed in when paying for something on ebay through paypal.  Now, it just automatically signs me in and pays.  Not liking it and want to go back to having to sign in everytime.  Help appreciated.  Thanks

Don't know if the answer was actually given. I didn't care to read some of the messages since there was some BEE S in there.

The solution is in the account settings in eBay somewhere. Try that -or- go to your paypal account and look in settings and you'll have to find authorized/automatic transactions from..etc. and you have to remove eBay.

Sorry this is so vague but it was a while since this happened to me. The solution is there and I had help from eBay on the phone. If you can't find it, just give them a call.....I know that's a pain too. Good luck

I think this might be in PayPal under  Settings > Security > Permissions You've Given

_permissions.jpgOnce you get there, click "Update" and you will see something like this:

Re: How can I stop ebay automatically going into Paypal without me having to sign in?

I found this:

https://pages.ebay.com/co/es-co/checkout/streamlined_checkout.html

How do you disable the new checkout experience?

You can disable the streamlined checkout experience while you’re on the last page in checkout at any time. Under the “Pay with” section, click Unlink accounts then select Remove your PayPal and eBay account from the options listed. Your accounts will then be unlinked, and you’ll be able to pay with PayPal just like you used to by logging in to PayPal.

The easier you are to offend the easier you are to control.

They still have at least 3 accounts of mine active and I've not used them in 10+ years.  It is very doubtful that ebay EVER throws away, deletes or rids itself of ANY data that may be useful, at some point, on down the road.
