How can I export my upcoming unsold listings to another file or platform as they end?

Forced GTC is last straw for me. As my current listings end, I’m leaving them in the unsold list with the hope that I can export them without having to recreate them all over again on a new platform. I’m not very technical, so hoping someone can help? I’d like to export the photos, titles, and descriptions, if possible. Any help is appreciated.

While I respect the fact that you don't like this change, it isn't likely you are going to find another site that is going allow you to have sales at the level you currently do.

What are the factors of GTC that has you concerned?  Maybe there are things I or others could help you with that may not have occurred to you.

I do understand this is very disruptive for many sellers.  I'm only trying to help.

You can try and find a software program that manages listings. Most of them will automatically download listings and images to include listings that are not running. That is about the only way I know to do that.

There may be an export function, but I am not sure.

I know @mam98031 only means well. To just quit is probably not the wise decision. You want and need sales. My recommendation is list the GTC items, pick your best items, and then work other venues. To some degree, it is correct about sales volume, that was before this update. I noted an uptick in my sales on another platform since the spring update was announced which I found interesting. Don't know if there is any correlation.

Regardless of what you do with eBay, you should always test markets because you never want to be a business that depends upon "one" customer to stay in business. Example, I had a period where ebay suspended my ability to sell on eBay for what ended up being close to 2 weeks. I was literally out of business with 30K of inventory at cost and nowhere else to sell it.

Fully agree with you and I feel the same way (and I'm not a Seller).  I'm a very frequent Buyer and have experienced the worst of eBay these past two months.  I'm done unless something immediate and compelling happens to resolve a number of serious issues (and the GTC issue for Sellers).

Re: How can I export my upcoming unsold listings to another file or platform as they end?

Forced GTC is the last of a long list of changes they’ve made over the past 2 years that have change by change eaten away at my time and resources. I’m not buying any more because of that long list so at this point I’m just looking for a place to sell my remaining collection, so its a short term move, not a long term one. When I first started buying, I was ecstatic, then I became a seller to sell all those buys. I saw it as a great retirement hobby as a collector, but my goodness, they want us hobbiests to operate like a full blown retail brand and that’s just not workable for some of us, well, not for me anyway.

I received a reply today re. GTC from Alan, the Community Boards Manager.  You can follow along and see posts and his reply at this thread;  I just wanted to thank eBay for giving it's sellers the finger again.

I'm not the OP, but as I was intending to set up a Sellers Account for the first time, this issue is of concern to me and I would not want to be forced to use GTC.

My goal is to hopefully make a difference and get the problems/Technical Issues addressed by eBay, so Members don't have to try to convince other Members to stay with eBay.  Members/Customers should want to stay with eBay and join eBay, not leave eBay.
