I will be having a hip replacement in the near future and will be in an orthopedic rehab facility for about a month.
Would love to be able to continue to sell on Ebay during this time. Most of what I sell needs to be scanned. I currently have a desk top pc and a large flat-bed scanner which I think would be too cumbersome in that environment.
I was thinking about buying a tablet and a hand-held scanner; however I am not at all technical so I was hoping for input from the Ebay selling community.
Thanks!!!

Thank you, missjen, for your good wishes. As I mentioned, not going as fast as I wished, but have had a whole lot of help from my daughter, son and grandchildren. Again, not bragging, but I am very lucky.
Surgery 12/11, went to two family Christmas parties, Christmas Eve and also Christmas Day. On my walker at that time, of course.
But, to the OP, again best wishes for a speedy recovery. And, after thinking about it for awhile, I think I will vote with the "no eBay while hospitalized" crowd. You do need to focus on rehab. When I was hospitalized I had rehab twice a day, starting with the day of surgery, so was pretty busy. Again, you need to concentrate on getting well.

Thank you so much. Could not have done it without my wonderful family.

You are more than welcome, Mary. It was great of you to share your story. It means more than you know. May God bless you as you continue to heal. Hopefully others will read what you share and be inspired, no matter what they may be going through.
