The same thing happened for me. I went to my listing and clicked on order details and was able to contact them from there.

You have to get there from the orders section of the seller hub overview page. Find the listing and click the blue arrow and contact buyer is down there somewhere.

I had the same problem the other day and finally let the buyers know through feedback that their painting was sent out and that is not the place for that to be done but I had to let them know that it was shipped. I sell art cards and if they buy just 1 or a couple I won't send with tracking as that would be a huge shipping amount for the customer. 2 days ago I looked all over to see if I could find a way to inform another buyer and did find a place in the order but it shouldn't be that way after all when buyers rank us communication is right up there in the ranks and if we can't communicate with our buyers what are we going to do. I felt like I was being sabotaged by ebay. I have been on ebay since 2001 and my business has been going along well and I have 126 followers and continued repeat customers year after year and they always appreciate very much my communication with them so I just don't know what is going on. As it is I have had to contend with the whole new way of doing things as everyone else has to, which takes a whole lot more time to do things than before since a person has to jump around all over the place where before everything was on one page and the dates were in sync whereas now they aren't. When this all started I was frustrated in tears. I usually have a little over 100 paintings and I paint them myself so that takes time. I don't know how those with hundreds of items for sale deals with all of this.
