I sold a brand new cup in the original sealed box to a buyer 2 months ago. The buyer received it, immediately messaged me like 3 messages on eBay with pictures of the cup, the same cup just with a lot scratches and stains. He claimed that the item was not brand new. My response was ok?! I sold you the cup in the original sealed box, it's not possible that it was not brand new. The buyer then sent me additional multiple messages, complaining that the cup was years old, it was produced years back. He sent me pictures of articles etc to support what he said. So I was like ok?! What do you want? Partial refund? He answered that he wanted a full refund. I said ok but he has to open a return request and send the item back. Then he demanded that I pay for return shipping fee. I said ok to that too. And guess what? he opened a payment dispute through paypal instead of a return request on eBay. Paypal locked me out from the case from the beginning, the only thing I could do was wait. And I waited a month and a half for the result. During the month and a half time, the buyer messaged me almost every day, demanding a refund. Paypal eventually closed the case in the buyer's favor, charged me for the full refund. Then the buyer continued messaging me, claiming that he tried to send the item back to me but my return address is undeliverable, which is funny, since the return address is my wife's law firm address, and they have 10 lawyers in the same office. They get 100+ letters + packages a day. Anyway, so the buyer demanded the reimbursement of the return shipping label fee. He said, I quote "It's all your fault that having an undeliverable return shipping address on ebay, cost me the money for the return shipping label for no reason. So you need to reimburse me, and I'm not sending the item back to you, because I'm not paying 2x return shipping fee." It's been 2 weeks since the case closed, and I still receive at least 2 - 3 messages per day from this buyer. I blocked the buyer a week ago, but that doesn't stop him to message me. I just want it to stop. Any idea how I can block him from messaging me???
