Did you mean:

History lesson please...

I'd been away from eBay for a while, so imagine my surprise when first engaging the I-Don't-Know-How-Old "new" user interface.  Did eBay decide somewhere along the line to make all their interfaces only mobile friendly?  I'm having trouble finding almost everything.  When I go to Listings and click Ended, I see nothing.  When I go to Overview, then go to the Listings tile and scroll to and click Sold, I see the Ended Listings page again.  Only this time the sold item appears.  I don't see where I can add Sold Price to listings.  Or feedback status to see if I got feedback and/or need to leave it.  I also see eBay decided to be my bank until they give me a payout from my sales.  Did they have a bad break up with PayPal?  The seller experience is so !@#$% different I feel like I'm starting over.  eBay must have thought so too; they delayed paying me for a sale.  eBay has always preferred catering to buyers, but this seems a little ridiculous.  Any advice on how a seller can best use eBay now is much appreciated.

This is only the start of your worries....

Keep in mind that you also will *most likely* be treated as a new user. Yes I see you've been here since 2000. Yes I see you have a 117 feedback rating. But you said it yourself "I've been away for awhile." Your account will be treated like a new account. As you found out, your funds...as they come in....will be placed on hold for 14 days...and possibly longer...until ebay is satisfied the transaction is completed successfully. Only then will your funds get deposited in your account.

Keep that in mind.

Also keep in mind that PayPal is no longer our payment processor. Our buyers can still pay by PayPal but all of our funds are now done through eBay's Managed Payments. It appears that you are signed up with them since you seemed to be complaining about that aspect about it.

As far as the interface. I could not quite follow along on what you were trying to do. Maybe one of the other sellers can jump in and explain that a bit better.

If you click on "My Ebay" at the top of the screen, that should bring up your "Seller Hub". That should be fairly easy to navigate.

Let's start there and take it step by step first. Shall we?

If you've been away that long, you might want to consider reviewing the User Agreement and other terms in order to best use eBay.  Basically, you feel like you're starting over because, basically, you are starting over.

I don't see where I can add Sold Price to listings.

I'm not sure what you mean by that.

Or feedback status to see if I got feedback and/or need to leave it.

In Sellers hub go to orders/all orders

Then at the top of that section, click on Status and choose either paid awaiting feedback or shipped and paid awaiting feedback.  The icons at the end will tell you whether you have received feedback or not.

Re: History lesson please...

Yes, there have been many changes.  Did you sign up for MANAGED PAYMENTS.  If ebay asks for your social security number and photo ID, you MUST give it to them. You will never see your money until you do so.  Do you have a valid bank account too?   Ebay will need that information.  Do what the others stated and learn about the many new features on ebay.  Read the many posts here and learn before you lose money.  Welcome back and good luck.

Oh yes, if you receive more than 600 dollars in funds, the IRS will get a copy of your 1099.  So start documenting for costs/fees and be ready to have fun doing all sorts of math to get your taxes done in 2023.  Learn to print through Ebay so that you will have an easy to find record of your shipping expenses.  Goodluck.
