I just got a negative on Christmas Eve. The byer called me horrible and rude. But they never even tried to contact me. Is it rude that I don't read the buyer's mind and contact them to see if everything is okay?
They also said the item they got tore as soon as they purchased. I'm sure if I saw it was torn right after they clicked "buy it now" I would've replaced it and sent one out that wasn't torn.
Is there tips I can do about this or just take the abuse?

You've had a few negatives already..ask them to return for refund..
Looks like you are selling non-licensed sports wear...you might have a few more issues eventually...

Don't sweat it. Your percentage of negs is quite low and you responded well. The neg will not significantly affect your sales.

Feedback is not used by eBay to measure a seller's account.
Some buyers do use feedback to decide whether they want to deal with a seller.
Many buyers look at the FB percentage but not at the actual comments.
(Buyers Don't Read)
Most buyers think 95% FB ratings are hunky dory.
But.
If you are getting negative FB, look to see whether the buyer is telling the whole story. And that you are.
Where are your garments made? There is an Item Specific for that. If it is in the USA, that will get you more customers.
Where are your garments shipped from? Since you don't name the shipping service, I suspect they are coming from an overseas wholesaler.
Have you ever actually seen or held the items you are selling?
Dropshipping is a fools game.
