Help, do I need Full First and Last name from the buyer before shipping paid item?

I recently sold an item to an Ebay buyer and they have paid but they don't have a Full First and Last name on their Ebay/Paypal account.  They only have a First and Last Initial.  They also don't have any feedback which never really bothered me before but with the amount of fraud cases going up lately I just want to make the right decision.  Do I need a full name to send out the item?  Thanks for your help.

You ship the item to the name and address that is given to you by eBay and Paypal.

If you try to communicate with your buyer all you are going to do is delay shipping and end up with a menu of other issues to contend with.   Many customers on eBay NEVER read their messages and many that do don't respond.   

As sellers,   We have to assume that the buyer has entered the correct info.   

Ship the item with tracking to the name and address that was provided.    

Zero feedback buyers are a new customer and sometimes a very lucrative customer.    30,000 transactions ago in the year 2000 I started at zero.

Thanks for the advice.  I'm not really concerned with the zero feedback as much because they paid and yes everyone starts somewhere.

As long as it's a valid address, I ship.  I print labels with obvious made up names nearly every single day (this week's favorite was 'Darth Maul') , or just 'Steve' (no last name, initial, nothing...) and haven't had any issues just for that.

Sign in your PayPal account and verify the payment is there and it says OK To Ship. Then ship it to the name and address provided.

No.

Businesses don't have first or last names and they get millions upon millions of pieces of mail every day.
