Hello I believe that my buyer is trying to scam me. Here's my situation. A buyer bought a laptop from me last week and it was delivered yesterday. Buyer messages me that they never received the item and ask me to file a claim to USPS. The address that the buyer had me send the item was to a package forwarding company and I only found out that the address was a package forwarding company after I googled it. I message back the buyer saying that the tracking number shows that it was delivered and they should contact the package forwarding company. He tells me that he has contacted them and they told him that they haven't received the package and he should file a claim to USPS.
At this point I notice that
1. Why would he claim that he didn't receive the item a day after it was delivered to a package forwarding company that is going to delivered the item to him?
2. Why would he have it shipped to the package forwarding company to then have it shipped to him if they are in the same area since he claims he didn't receive the item
2. I got him to acknowledge the the package forwarding company
I know that this buyer is trying to scam me and is there anything that I can do? Should I keep replying to him?
I shipped the item through USPS using the flat rate boxes.

You need do nothing further. The tracking shows delivered. There is no way for the buyer to scam you under these circumstances. If they try to open a case thru eBay, they will lose. (If they do open a Not Received case, upload the tracking number to the case. You will prevail.)

Reply tracking shows delivered then nothing else, if the INR is opened as others have said upload the tracking you win, looks like you were targeted for a high dollar item as a seller with very little selling feedback, typical scam attempting to bully you into refunding.

I agree with the others, just keep it simple and reply that the tracking shows the item was delivered to the address on their payment notification. And leave it at that. If they write again, send them the same message.
If they do end up opening an INR, while putting the tracking number into the actual claim is a good idea I would then immediately call Ebay. Ask for the claim to be closed in your favor because the tracking shows delivered. If you just enter the tracking and wait for Ebay to close the claim, that could take some time, days to be sure if not longer. It is in your best interest to have it closed in your favor as quickly as possible, so I always recommend calling.
