I have about forty 30 day listings that existed prior to the new GTC policy. I had assumed that they would just end one last time, but Ebay is relisting them. Pay attention to cancel before the 30 day mark.
The prediction that there are going to be A LOT of angry sellers when the April invoices come out is likely spot on.

This was announced on Feb 26 and the Boards have been exploding with threads about it since then by angry sellers. Many, many threads. You can search this Board to read them if you would like.
On March 27, in Chat, the following statement was made by an Ebay Blue:
From the Chat of March 27, 2018: At this point in time the change to duration options is permanent and there are not plans to adjust it. We believe that it will be the best format to attract and retain buyers to your businesses. However, if that proves not to be the case we could see things change in the future. Thanks!

A quick update. As you are aware, starting March 18th the Good ‘till Cancelled (GTC) format is now the only duration available for fixed price listings. If you have shorter duration listings that were listed before March 18th, they will end as scheduled and then when you relist you will see GTC as the only option.

My 30 day listings are still ending daily with no problem. Did you switch to GTC listings prior to the 18th?
My GTC listings are rolling as they normally do, but the others aren't. I've been going through the ended ones every day to decide which ones I wish to relist as GTC and others I'm taking to auction.

This wouldn't be due to the new GTC policy. Ebay is NOT converting 30 day FP listings posted prior to 3/18 into a GTC listing.
However when you created your 30 day BINs and if you checked the box to allow them to relist a certain amount of times, then YUP, they are now GTC listings.

After the first FREE 50 I will unless I end and relist at another time or never.

I had about 30 FP listings end normally and show up in my Unsold list yesterday. They became my first GTC listings when I relisted them, and I didn't care what I was relisting because I still had freebies left, so why not. Will need to get picky with my April free 50. Found myself very glad there are ten days between the last of my old FP ending in April and my new GTC because I can't tell the difference between them just looking at my For Sale list. I intend to let some of the GTC roll over to see how sales are with them, but most I'll end at 29 days since I have about 175 items listed and only 50 free listings. Getting organized for a May garage sale, so hoping to get rid of some of the things that are languishing waiting for a free listing promo.

Having to spend time worrying when to end my listings is counter productive. This is a slap in the face to sellers.
