Have sales slowed down for you in September 2022 ?

Anyone else feeling the slow down in September? I usually get at least 2-3 orders per day... Now crickets for the last 10 days...Very weird, also I usually get a lot of watchers, views on my items but this month it seems to very low count.

My sales tanked 2 months ago. People don't leave feedback. I provide 5 star service with every sale. Every time someone sends me a request for large discount they never ever thank me with feedback.  So sick of lowball offers. Starting to block these t#rds🤬😠😡

My sales tanked 2 months Go. Have too much inventory. Buy from Estate Sales and other sourcing. I have a lot of fabulous stuff. Starting to loose interest. Getting to many lowball offers from buyers. A lot my items are not listed with make an offer. Due to lowballing insulting offers. Blocking most of them. Some offers are complete insult. Donate it to charity first.

Yes, absolutely.  My traffic took a huge hit right between August and September.  My traffic in August was at the level of Q4 2021 and then it just died in September and never recovered.  I had a promoted listing advanced campaign and an offsite ad campaign and my traffic was still down compared to the SUMMER when I had neither of those things going.  My sales were down 42.5% Q4 compared to Q4 2021 after being up the whole rest of the year, and I had even taken a 2 week vacation October 2021!  Something must have happened between August and September.  I called ebay because I thought maybe my account was being throttled, but it wasn't.  I asked what was going on and they couldn't give me any insight.

The first complaints about slow sales were in October 1995.

Sales have been more than dismal heading into 2023...... I found a recently published article that logically tries to explain the issue.    I sure wish ebay would make some type of a clarification why sales, impressions and pages views are down so far?

If you look at the comments from that article, you'll see that it was originally published in 2017, meaning that people have been complaining about their sales since time in memoriam.

I also note that not once anywhere in that article does it suggest that a seller's sales might be down because their prices are no longer competitive. That's one of the first things a seller should be checking.
