My dogs are visible in my avatar. Ginger just turned 7 in July, and Daisey was 5 last March (I believe).
I admire them every time you post!

@mam98031 wrote:Well I was a bit concerned. Earlier this week we had so much rain come down in a short period of time. It was awful. And the wind. OMG it was scary. I live on a very wooded lot. Lots of tall trees around me.
But the last couple of days it has been getting prettier and prettier outside. It looks like a beautiful weekend is ahead of us.
Thank you for your kind wishes. I join you in wishing everyone a fun filled weekend, whatever that looks like for each of us.
Oh my gosh !! It sounds gorgeous, @mam98031 , despite the scary part.
Would gladly swap the very flat plains of Texas, with its few charming scrub trees and broiling summer temps. (One does get heat-acclimated eventually by considering how wonderfully adventurous it is living on the face of the sun.) Hopefully making a change soon to cooler climes!
@meme6253 Thank you for the well wishes. Right back atcha!!

Well if you ever decide to come my way for a visit, let me know. I'd be happy to show you around a bit. It is beautiful here. So many green trees year round. While we have distinct seasons around here, they are normally not really rough. Ever few years we get a rough Winter and we are due for one as the last few years have been pretty easy. But now, I just stock up and say home. Kids are off leading their own lives, so I can be home, turn on the fireplace and just enjoy the beauty of the storms. And while sometimes scary, they are sometimes very pretty too.
