We need our voices heard. I am running into time stealing issues with every listing. It's not a matter of getting used to it... it is a matter of eBay needing to fix it or go back to the old tool.
What I am experiencing?
1. Shipping issues - glitches for flat cost, and calculated. I enter package size and weight, then it disappears and I have to do it again...and again.
2. Item details - not as easy to fill out. Sometimes it all goes away when I try to update one item (such as shirt size)
3. Photo tool freezes. I go to edit and it won't open. I decide to finish the listing and go back and edit, but then the photo shows up to edit. I edit and then it says its listed, but the edit didn't happen.
I am on a laptop. Been selling since 1999. This has been rolled out with so many bugs and glitches.

My update on now not so new listing tool. It seems like many of the glitches have been fixed, but photo tool still won't work if you click on a photo to edit before the last finishes reloading. When I go to change item specifics, it disappears, then if I scroll down and then back up it reappears and lets me change things.
Still a long way to go to say the new selling tool is working well. It is better, but it was horrible.

agreed. it takes two clicks to access item specific for some reason. Its like it forgets to complete the action then resets to the main page - then works the 2nd time you slick add.. frustrating and time consuming for sure.
The tool has gotten marginally better with the item specifics being mostly on the main page again but still wwaayyy too many clicks to add specifics- Why cant it just accept what I add with having me scroll down and click "add" before i hit the done button- that is 2 too many clicks. it should be: type then hit enter or tab and it should auto save and move to the next box
shipping section needs more of the same treatment- moving the fields to the main flow instead of hidden in toggle on/off submenus
still not a usable desktop tool
its been months for some of us and we need fixes much faster

I don't know if they will ever fix this new listing tool. It is a piece of crap from start to finish. When I phoned ebay support (In the Philliphines) I was told by a Supervisor that the Classic Listing Page I could no longer use after I switched to the New Selling Tool. I went into this Forum and through knowledge of other eBay members. I was able to click on the three dots and go back to the Classic Selling Page. Thank God! It does no good to reach eBay Support anymore because the people in the Philliphines do not know anything. Leo, clothesusa, Member of eBay since December 1996)

I hate it! They just forced me offer today. I have know option to use the old listing tool.
I’m on the phone with them now. Why not let me me list where I am comfortable?
I have been selling on EBAY since 2000. I’m really tired of hearing “ Thank you for your loyalty “ **bleep** every time I call.

Update...I think they seem to have most the glitches worked out now. Took 3 months.

My sentiments exactly - it seems like they are trying to make you click 1000 times per listing.
Stuff is way too buried in un-intuitive dialogs.
And what the hell are these stupid "Slider" controls!!!
Im on a PC - not an iPad!!!!
The tech stack is SO disjointed. Words are used indefinitely and mean different things on the APP and PC (Payments)
And - like why do they keep track of EXPIRED offers from sellers - mix them in with my current BIDS...its SO STUPID
I tend to think they have disparate tech staffs working different angles - with different languages...and it shows.

Its hard to use, but maybe i can help a bit. It changed for me yesterday. Very frustrating. I dont make new listings now or before. I have always used sell similar and most info carries over. I usually change title, category, price etc. The shipping was hardest for me to figute out. I couldnt find first class either. So i used the part that asks for item details. I put in 15 ounces in box 8 by 8 by 8 inches. That gave me first class option. If i need a zip code i have one to use that is east. I am west. It will show you a whole bunch of choices that you have used in the past. Priority top of list , various weights and prices for me because i use flat rate not calculated. Thats how it is on etsy, you have to choose what they call a shipping profile for each item you list. I found it very annoying so i hardly ever use them anymore. Now here it is, similar thing on ebay. Its like all the sites just copy each other. It's cumbersome, but i think i have it figured out for my needs, best of luck to everyone.

Cumbersome- perfect description of the new listing tool. velvet@ebay - you have been doing a great job at keeping up with the teams on this topic for us- Do you have any information about when we will see any major improvements to the new listing tool yet?
Another flurry of random ebay sellers have now been rolled over and are speaking out against it again......and the feedback is all the same as the last 6 months. How many people does ebay need to hear from before they realize that the core ebay customer(seller) lists on computers and laptops NOT mobile phones and we need a listing tool that works well on those devices?
Too many clicks
Too many popups
Too many options are hidden in submenus instead of on main page
Page jumps and resets every time you click into an item specific
Shipping section is long and drawn out and cumbersome and does not show us pricing- just a range
Too much more to list- but its all been said on the posts anyway
Notice that we do not have any "see more" or "edit all" buttons in our posts to save space or clean up the look- nobody wants to search and hunt for information - especially sellers who are just trying to list items and move on to the next.

So I posted update that things seem to be worked out... and yesterday noticed same glitch... item specifics fades away when I go to change something (like size). It then comes back. Occasionally photo editor still will not work if I go to quickly from one photo to another. I am on a laptop. It is better than it was, but why can't they get this thing figured out in three months?

People have been telling ebay for years how upset they are with these so called new and wonderful changes, they've been making and the endless glitches. If ebay has not listened by now, I doubt they will suddenly start doing so. My solution was to sell and buy elsewhere. I find things easier on google ( ebay search stinks because only those paying high % to promote are getting good views). I sell much more at higher prices on that other E site than I ever sold here. Before you ask why I am here then? Ebay refuses to close my account for no reason ( nothing owed either way) so I have to check it once in awhile. Every time I look here, I see more horror stories. Just imagine how many do not bother to post their issues here. So glad I don't use ebay anymore.

Just curious if the ebay teams have made any effort to reach out to us sellers about improvements to the listing tool? Its been going on 8 months with little to no improvement. All the same issues and glitches still exist and we are finding the same complaints pop up on the boards here from sellers that just got switched over permanently. Is their salience the answer? Is the tool done being fixed? Is this it?
Thanks for reaching out to them again on our behalf- we would love a "roadmap" so we know what to expect.

I know that teams behind the scenes will often reach out to members and work with them but I don't know the ins and outs for everything @siamjane8.
I know they're continually working on our selling tools, including the new listing tool, so it's not a 'We're done, hands off now' type of thing. They don't provide us with roadmaps so I'm not able to share out on anything there.
In the meantime, you can keep providing feedback here and especially continue providing it via the 'Your Feedback' feature in the listing page itself, as I do know that is reviewed.
