Your store is not closed; I see your listings just fine. Clothing is a really tough category - maybe some others will come along with advice for you.

Thank you so much.

There are no guarantees that any of us will get sales every day. You appear to have an active store with an average of around 100 sales per month. I'm unsure as to why you are complaining. It is highly likely you are just fine. Why would you think there is something seriously wrong? I'm not sure I understand.

You'll drive yourself nuts if you start worrying about one single day's performance - take a longer view, like a month and see how things average out.

eBay remain open 24/7/365 or 366.
Clothing is a vere saturated market with beaucoup selers w/tons of offering.
It is back to school/college time time - Schools in Georgia and other Southern states have started and the rest of the US will start by late Aug or early Sept.. Sales activity level is like the movement of a Duncan YoYo - lots of ups and downs. Good times never last forever. Plus lots of Clearance sales for summertime wear by retailers I've noticed and after all I am Just a man* - my wife has hawk eyes for those signs. And Goodwill has 99 cent Mondays for clothing too. BTW - seems to me prices of essential things keep going up in spite of what some political folks tell us - they are just trying to keep their "cushy" job with great perks.

boy it seems like it in regard to sales. Very slow, last week I sold 10 items and this week 1. I attribute slow sales to the middle of the summer and it is hot (very hot in NY), School is beginning and people are shopping for school items, plus shipping is killing us. The cost of food is still high. Plus there are garage sales, estate sales flea markets and next week Bouckville in NYS...what a great antique shopping experience that is.
Just my take. hopefully September will be better.

24 hours? This gave me a chuckle. I have gone two weeks without a sale many times.

Sounds a lot like my ex.

Yeah, I don't get it. I am convinced once you have a good veteran account it's worth expires and Ebay uses it to be Beta test subject . I remember opening a second account a few years ago and it outsold my 17 year old account 3 times over. But now that other account has been dragging as well the past couple years. Now I get some items are slow sellers and may take years to sell, but many times I have checked "solds" and the other seller had less stars, horrible feedback, higher price and item was lesser condition. I guess the only thing I can learn from this is to be a horrible seller and I will thrive.

Like a lot of us, I was pretty busy during the pandemic. People would leave me these heart felt messages as to why they bought my items due to a family illness, a death or just to pray that it would end soon. It's like people got back into their faith and they felt prayers were the answer. Now it's a hit or miss. I get that I'm in a very saturated category, so the fault I guess is on me. But I'm not a quitter, so I just keep selling a long and hopefully the gods will smile down on me with a sale. One can hope anyway.
Happy Selling
PS I am not advertising. Most here know what I sell. 😊

Honestly, I can't figure out how people who sell things for less than $10 make any money.
With the cost of acquisition, storage, shipping, supplies, taxes, eBay fees ... I figure if I sell something for less than $10 I am actually losing money. I just don't list things with a list price of less than $10.
That being said, I don't buy used clothing, so I can't give a whole lot of advice.
What is your average sales price?
This last year I concentrated on getting my average sale number up, and I've done that. I increased sales price by a little over 10% by raising shipping and prices both.
But, think about a different product that you can add to your current inventory, and try to get the income per sale up.
One that people want.
Then think about the cost of acquisition, and mark up 3x and see if there's a niche there for you.
I guess what I'm saying is ... try different stuff. Different.
Buy 100 of something and test it.
Didn't work?
Try again.

I sometimes go without a sale in a 24 hour period...and then it bounces back.
When I get an International Sale I know it will be 2 days with only a few International Sales and no domestic sales. Then it's back to 5 days of just domestic sales.
Something with those algorithms I guess.
I promote all new items now at 2% promoted rate....that gets me on other seller's items for sale.
And I try to list every week now some items.
Really, 'repeat buyers' do help during these slow periods...I will bend over backwards for them.
