Has eBay standard envelope shipping improved or has it stayed the same?

I'm recently started to sell some Pokemon trading cards and packs and was looking into shipping options and discovered this type of shipping. After doing some research on its requirements and people's reviews on it, it seems like the most prominent issue is that tracking does not update all the time due to not scanning them. Does this issue still remain fairly the same or has their been any improvements to it?

I tried this way of sending cards when it first came out and while I was lucky no one asked for refunds, the tracking didnt show door to door.

So I stopped but would send upon buyer request.

I just had one last week. Sent it with ESE. Didn't scan until the bigger hub but it now says its out for delivery to the persons town so I guess its gotten better?

I still won't use it unless requested. I like being able to send my items in a padded envelope first class and know its getting there safely and my feedback from people praising my packaging says alot!

I use standard shipping on a daily basis and only had a few issues when it came to the tracking. As long as the item says delivered at the end of the day you did your job. One time in particular you could see an issue with the post office scanning as out to delivery 3 times on a Sunday. it was a lower priced card and the guy was wicked understandable I ended up just refunding him because the post office was juggling it around. I always see the main post office hub as it gets transfers out of my state in Hartford then I see when it goes to its destination then delivery. When this shipping first came out it was not that good. having used this shipping method quite a bit I can see an Improvement. Its not first class. But I always get in my feedback fast shipment arrived early (sometimes earlier then the first class that is shipped in the game general area) I am pretty confident in this shipping method. A package will get lost sometimes no matter what shipping method you use. its cheap and reliable where when it says delivery. that's that
