TO All Sellers: BEWARE! I sold my Gucci 25th Anniversery Horse Bit Velour Shoulder Bag purchased by me for over $1,495 not including tax from a Gucci Boutique in my home in Palm Beach, Florida. I sold the bag because never used it still had all paperwork and tag. I did not include the receipt to Buyer. I have been selling for over a decade with zero issues on Ebay EVER with a Buyer claiming anything was fake. This program which I never applied for has the bag after the sale sent to some warehouse for over a week so then claim it couldn't be authenticated by them so refunded the Buyer and sending bag back. No contact with me with request of further proof, etc. Now scared I will be getting a fake bag back. I will be taking the bag down to the very person purchased it from at Gucci to proof it IS REAL. If Gucci says its fake will get my purchase record for the bag then have my attorney deal with EBAY.

Hopefully you can find an attorney honest enough to tell you that it is never worth the cost to hire an attorney over a $1,500 dispute. That is what small claims courts are there for.

Actually, I recently hired an attorney for $1,300 on a $1,200 small claims case. I had to hire an attorney as the defendant showed up with one(total greenhorn) at Mediation. Not a problem. I would have paid $5k to win the case and rub his nose in it. Yes, I won. He still didn't pay. I filed for an asset inventory of his business for liquidation purposes, or whatever the legal term is as he ignored the court-ordered judgment payment to me. Long story short - I got my money and he learned a very hard and expensive lesson. My take was a cash wash and maybe a few bucks were lost. Unfortunately, there are some people that believe a guy won't pursue a court case or attorney fees because of the cost. That makes 2 wins for me now. The moral of the story is, don't underestimate what a person will do or pay to right being wronged. And besides, Small Claims Courts are a total joke. Municipal Judges are lawyers that can't make it in the real world.
