HOW does eBay ALLOW this?

In a search for a Porsche 1973-77 911 distributor vacuum advance, eBay led me to a listing that stated it was a vacuum advance, but was actually a set of brake shoes and rotors for a completely different car.

THIS is how bad Search has gotten.

The best part, though?

eBay led me to a seller with a -1 feedback score. Total feedback consisted of one neutral and one negative. Both were left "more than a year ago".

The even BETTER part?

This seller has 4400 items listed for sale.

HOW, eBay???

Chaos is NOT an "industry standard".

Re: HOW does eBay ALLOW this?

I just checked in on this seller- they sold a $700 set of drilled rotors for a Ford Explorer according to the listing, but the eBay fitment guide right in the listing shows that the product they sold actually fits an Audi 80/ 90 Quattro with SOHC engine only.

I just have to laugh at the incredible incompetence. I wonder how long until feedback goes from -1 to -2 with this new seller with 4400 items listed...

They've been fancy-footing through some of these threads like Charlie Two Step.

OK kids, time to get the Dodge loaded up again. I hear 'Poppy's By the Tree' calling. This trip might be a long one too.
