The item is out of stock- nobody can buy it.

You can manually end the listing. If you don't want other listings to renew then to into your Site Preferences and disable the Out of Stock feature.

OK I will try that.

Do I have to disable each item or can I do a bulk?

Also, I am basically using QTY 2 of my Fixed price listings on a single auction. Hopefully the disabling prevents the new relist from occurring.

Once you change the setting it will apply to all listings and prevent them from renewing if the listing is out of stock. They will automatically renew if you still have stock left because of the new Good 'Til Canceled changes.

Any listings that currently have 0 stock you can manually end or leave them up and they will expire after the end of their current cycle- after you change the out of stock setting.

CoffeeBean, I wish I would have posted earlier.

I took your advice and selected NO on the Use the out-of-stock-option.

Thank you for taking the time out to help. I appreciate it.

It appears that ebay has decided to check off the OOS option for a lot of sellers without their knowledge.

Intentionally or a glitch- has eBay weighed in on it @myjunqueyourtreasure?

I've been reading this thread and have never used GTC until now.  I had a strange thing happen which maybe can be explained simply by how GTC works.  I have an old 30 Day FP end and was planning to take the item to a local box lot ... then 2 days later a Buyer messaged asking me if I planned to Relist it.  I let them know I could if they were interested and they said yes.  We agreed on a time and at sad time I relisted it ... I was doing some other work in seller Hub and then noticed a red letter 1 out of stock notation, clicked on it and low and behold it was the item ... it had sold but wound up back on my unsold list, which could accidently get Relisted again if not careful.  So is THAT normal, that when a GTC item with quantity of 1 sells it becomes an "out of stock item"?  Keep in mind I have not set anything with the Out of stock function (not even sure where it is) ... but shouldn't it just go to my Sold file like the old FP listings did?  That's actually how I want things to work, if it sells it is moved  the Sold file and not to some Out of stock list ... is that possible?  If so, how?

The OOS option keeps GTC listings live (for up to 90 days)even when they are Out of Stock.

GTC solds don't actually move into solds until all stock is gone (and there's no OOS option used).

Okay, is the OOS option on each individual Listing or is it a global setting default in Site Preferences that can be set for Off until it is turned On on individual listings?  All the FPs that end and were Relisted as GTC simply went up with whatever setting was the default for the OOS ... this could cause issues for Sellers (like me) who are not familiar with exactly how GTC works ... but thanks for your input.

Unfortunately (for now anyway) it's a global setting. I would LOVE it to be by individual listing.

lincoln, go to Site Preferences- it's in the first section.

I completely agree with the above opinion- this needs to be changed to a listing-level setting!
