I will be going to eBay Open next week.

I posted a while ago that if anyone want to send me questions, suggestions , complaints, praises , etc I am more than willing to pass them to the teams or /and eBay staff members.

So lets hear them !!

Gotta ask...where did you live, Newark, Paterson, Trenton? Isn't like that out here in the NW corner, or in a lot of other places either.

Why on GODs green earth would you waste that kinda money ?

Do you think that eBay employees there will magically erase any negatives or defects you may have? (answer: NO they wont)

Do you think that eating their rubber chicken will make them like you as a seller more then they do anyone else? (answer: NO it wont)

Do you think that the patronizing speeches of how if YOU only gave more/did more/spent more your sales would magically IMPROVE? (answer: NO it wont)

Do you think that the very choice of picking Las Vegas NV during the dead of summer where its 117 degrees in the shade shows any care or concern for the very sellers they claim to care about ? (answer: NO it doesnt)

Do you think that charging you $295 to hear "answers/solutions" from people with no background in internet sales is a GOOD thing for your financial well being? (answer: NO it isnt)

Dont you think that with the BILLIONS that eBay claims they made last quarter (etc) that "eBay Closed" should be a FREE event to all sellers like CES, NY Toy Fair, and NY NOW is? (answer: greedy pigs wont allow it)

Dont you think that since Paypal is their "other half" (despite papers that claim they arent) you should have been allowed to use them as a Payment method? (answer: for what ever reason the wont allow it - what are they hiding? are they afraid after people go and realize they have been hosed, they will want a refund?)

there are LOTS of questions that need answers - sadly - they wont be answered at eBay Closed. All they will tell you is Free Shipping, 30-60 day FREE returns, and buy our sponsored ads! (or your items wont get shown).

Best of luck, drink lots of water, go see the fountains at Bellagio and if you like the Beatles - catch the show at the Mirage - worth every penny.

Please ask why selling preferences explicitly recommend we allow 30 days of purchasing before a buyer must be prompted to pay, but then they invoke their own brand of Instant Payment Required to override that.

I was born in Jersey City, but I also have relatives in Newark, Elizabeth, and Kearny.

theheadphonecompany, shoppingmom is offering to voice sellers displeasure by asking questions that we give to her. It is an opportunity that she doesn't have to offer.

shoppingmom has managed to wade through all of ebays changes and policies and create a successful business for herself with few problems and feels that without ebay her business would flounder. While I personally do not have the depth of her trusting ebay attitude, she has made it work for her and if she feels that going to ebay open will benefit her, I can't get on her about it.

But having been to ebay meeting (with Patty) and had to listen to the bobbing and weaving that ebay does and seeing the end result, and I believe that she can judge for herself the good and bad that she can hear there, then come back and report accordingly. But I can diss ebay about a meeting that seems to only be a cheerleading fundraiser for themselves

1) Why can't my search selections remain "sticky" so I don't have to keep selecting US Only for instance.

2) Why aren't programming changes that affect seller's sales more throughly vetted before going live, and then having to complain, complain, complain to get glitches bugs, etc fixed ... maybe.

3) Why does eBay insist on selling stores with both Fixed Price / Auction listings and just sell LISTINGS, and let sellers decide how to use them?

3) Why is the outdated and largely unused Feedback System still being used?

I'm ̶p̶r̶e̶t̶t̶y̶ ̶s̶u̶r̶e̶ certain the lunatics have taken over the asylum.

It's an active blackout drink. You function like normal for the most part, but you don't remember a thing. Dr Jekyll, meets Mr Hyde. Most people get pure evil after drinking it. So...it depends on your definition of fun.

1 shot of Tequila

1 shot of Southern comfort

1 shot of Peppermint Schnapps

Grapefruit juice

and a half of lemon turned upside down like a mushroom cloud.

This drink glows in the dark.

Im NOT "getting on her" about it.

As a fellow seller - I wanted to save her the $295 fee + the airfare.

She is MORE then entitled to be upbeat and chearfull AND to try to get answers from the live bots they pass off as eBay employees - I just wanted to warn her so that she wouldnt be too dissapointed.

Thats why i encluded some helpful tips - since I go every year to CES in Vegas - and 1) they dont charge you to get in if you register June-November for the show in Jan. 2) there are THOUSANDS of vendors, meetings there with industry movers and shakers (from MS to Ford) and 3) if Vegas is too much - I recommend NY NOW - as its on the East Coast.

I dont like eBay ripping people off - but if she feels she will gain - then by all means !

I thought I would add this...I once knew this nice, friendly, sweet, little...about 4' 10, girl that took a pool ball one night, after drinking about half of one of those, an threw it at her long time boyfriend. She looked like she was aiming for the family jewels, but missed, and broke his knee cap.
