Gloves are off. Ebay now allows sellers to use Ebayers IDs to smear their name!!

Earlier this week I found A seller that is using my Ebay name to smear my items. That was Tuesday. 4 time I contacted Ebay and they were promising me up and down that they would remove the listing. They said they take these issues very seriously.

Today I called up again, and they said they that the reason it was not taken down was it did not violate any Ebay Policy, and that there is no proof that this will cause me any issues. This is the Description. Judge for yourself if this would bother you.

Original CCM Maska made jersey. This is not a cheap Asian fake or a knock off that jersey..authentix sells, this is the real deal jersey made back in the mid 90s.

whats really funny is I sold him this jersey. He has purchased four jerseys from me. I had to place him on my no bid list for his rude behavior when I wouldnt agree to his low ball offers. He even tried to use another Ebay Id to buy, but I noticed who is was.

So I guess its open season on your competitors . Get out there and smear their names. Ebay is OK with it

Mistakes could suggest the person handling the matter is not thorough. Maybe they don’t grasp the seriousness of the matter. The offense is a clear breaking of eBay policy and the listing should be removed post haste, just as you have been saying."

This was copied and pasted. I have received very similar responses when I contacted Ebay, and still today the list is still up. 

I hate to be a conspiracy nut, but one wonders why , when so blatant that this remains.  I earlier placed the ID and Item Number on this post just to see what action would be taken. With in moments the post was removed . Not OK to post other Id , but OK to post Ids in your list to smear. Something very wrong.

Anyways I have done all the effort I'm going to do with this, because  there is no question ebay has no interest in stopping sellers from smearing other sellers. Thanks for all your support. Definitely kept me calmer.

Hi @jersey..authentix - sorry that you've run into something like this! This type of behavior is against our policies and @gwzcomps gave you dead-on advice on how to report the listing appropriately. 

I've also gotten this reported as well, thanks for the heads up!

EUREEKA!!!  Its is finally removed.  I just wish it didnt have to takes over a week to do so, and I wish it didnt have to take such effort.

Congrats.  I am sure some of it is due to limited support.  Also whatever the thresholds are to deal with listing removals.
