Global shipping program - UK not listed as destination?

I'm trying to buy from a US seller who does sell thru the global shipping program.

But the UK is not listed in the very long list of countries that can be shipped to.

The seller has no idea why this is.

What do I have to do to buy from him?

There are quite a few categories with EIS/Global shipping that can't be shipped to the UK. Toys & Games is one of the biggest. There are others but I am not exactly sure which ones they are.

It seems to be unrelated to categories. One seller said that in order to sell to the UK he had to confirm he only used recycled packaging. Which he had no idea how to source. I'm trying to but motorcycle parts which have never been a problem until recently.

Check and see if your item is restricted for shipment by the UK.

I had the same thing happen last year when I sold some WWII glass slides.  I took the item out of the GSP, and then the sale went through. Shipped fine.
