Global Shipping

I have a certain type of items  that I intend to allow a couple of overseas sales on.

How much extra time does it take if Global is used?

I've found them to get  there as fast, sometimes faster, than if they go on our own.

It kind of depends on the country you are shipping to. I use the eBay Global Shipping Program and that will slow the timeline down by several days but I have had packages go through the GSC and arrive in EU countries faster than items I have sent from Virginia to the west coast probably due to less stops at centers.

same.....but

it is a moving target and sometimes it just doesn't go as planned. The arrival date the buyer sees does change with delays though, so that helps...

if it gets in and out of Erlanger quick that helps

If customs isn't taking one of what seems like 100 EU holidays, that helps

what I am saying is, as soon as you think you have great results, one shipment will come up and bite you

Since the timeline is shown to the buyer I would let THEM decide if it takes too long. It should not matter to you in the big scheme of things.

Lift your left leg at midnight to start off on the right foot. Happy new Year!

Thanks everybody. I have decided to not use it.  I have leftovers from when I painted miniatures and many Ebay years ago I sent dozens of them in plain envelopes (with no tracking) and it worked out fine.

I'll take a leap of faith and do the same again ....for the unframed ones
