I had problems with the eBay iPhone app. I have messaged eBay on their Facebook page.
1)Purchases from auctions would not go into the cart. So, they would be missed and end up as unpaid items!
2) items that I purchased (auctions) from one seller I would have to pay one at a time. ( wow I wonder if this glitch helps eBay.) IF I had several purchases from one Seller and thought I paid for everything from that one Seller some things in fact hadn’t been paid for. ( they weren’t added to the order!
3) on my app purchases and offers are mixed together on the app. That makes it easy to miss bids. (I bid on junk jewelry and jewelry fittings for beadwork and it is not unusual for me to have 25+ items from one seller with a total of $10. )
4) If the Seller sends an invoice I don’t have this problem! So I started requesting an invoice to make sure everything is paid.
5) when I had a many items on my purchase page, the page would only go down 22 purchases. So I couldn’t get to ALL my orders and sometimes I have had a hundred or purchases from just a few sellers. ( seems they did fix this last problem.)
6) On these items that I missed no non-payment notices were going into my message box to warn me… so I didn’t get a notice they weren’t paid. So I got uncalled for marks against me for unpaid items. ( even though it was proved to be a glitch by eBay I had to remind them several times to take that off my record.
This happened 2 years ago and I couldn’t figure out what was happening, so nothing was done about this glitch. This time I toke many screen shots to prove what was happening.
eBay’s answer to me on this problem? DON’T USE THE EBAY APP Go To your browser and go to the eBay classic site. IMHO this must be causing problems with other buyers that don’t know eNay as well as I do!
I wonder how many problems this is causing over the whole site?
